Today Belair has offices in Colorado, Minnesota and Florida with traveling teams handling remote/specialty projects throughout various regions of the United States.

Our skilled management teams have the experience and knowledge to give you the service needed to add real value your toughest projects. Providing site-work and prime contracting services is our business.

COMPANY HISTORY
1953
Henry A. Murlowski founded Belair in 1953, after his time serving our Country in the United States Marine Corps in the Pacific Theater during World War II. A carpenter by trade, Henry as Belair built hundreds of single-family homes and thousands of multi-unit homes through the 1950’s, 60’s and 70’s.
1970’s
By the early 1970’s Henry’s boys, Mark and Michael Murlowski joined in the business. In the late 1970’s, having acquired a sizable inventory of heavy equipment, Belair added demolition, earthwork, utilities, and environmental to its commercial services.
1980’s
Mark and Michael Murlowski became the main owners of Belair as “Hank” partially retired. The primary work focus was steered to Heavy Civil Construction and geographical diversification.
2019

Our mantra – IF YOU SEE IT, YOU OWN IT! Though our goal is prevention, our employees are trained to recognize hazards and understand that mitigating the situation is everyone’s responsibility. As defined by OSHA a “Competent person” means one who is capable of identifying existing and predictable hazards in the surroundings or working conditions, which are unsanitary, hazardous, or dangerous to employees, and who has authorization to take prompt corrective measures to eliminate them. Belair integrates safety into every aspect of the job from start to finish. LEAN CONSTRUCTION
Belair started implementing the principals of Lean Construction in 2005. Our journey continues to evolve yet our primary goal remains the same; facilitate and drive cost reduction by providing the best value to our Customers. This doesn’t mean cutting corners, instead, we challenge ourselves to find a better way to produce a quality product every time.
